Suggest Treatment For Acute Fundal Erosions And Sigmoid Colitis

I have suffering from acute fundal erosions and sigmoid colitis for about a year. have taken lots of medicines and consulted lots of doctors, but all were fruitless. I empty bowels about 4 times a day. Any time my abdomen makes rumbling noises. My stomach burns and aches all d time. Tired of taking antacid tablets. Plz help

Hi,

Fundal erosion can be due to faulty diet, psychological stressor some times to gastric infection by H. pylori. Treatment consists of dietary management&antacid medications. If not relieved by these, the H Pylori infection needs to be diagnosed by pathological test and treated with suitable antibiotic along with routine management.

Sigmoid colitis is an autoimmune / infective or genetic condition causing inflammation and ulcerations of sigmoid colon. Mostly with specific treatment. It gets controlled in 8 days. Some cases may get extended up to few weeks. You should consult a gastroenterologist for detailed examination,needful investigations and specific management of both the condition.
