Suggest Treatment For Acute Gastritis And Hepatomegaly

Hi Sir,

My Father is aged about 63 years. he is taking alcohal regularly. Recently he stopped having food from past 3 months. I went for Endosxopy and Ultra sound scanning. The impression was Acute Gastitis and mild hepatomegaly. Please let me know what care i should take.. Please let me know best doctors in bangalore. What other tests i need to do

Hi welcome to HCM....

Here your father condition is because of alcohol drinking ....

He should be consulted to nearby physician or gastroenterologist ....

He needs to investigate with liver enzymes estimation SGPT and SGOT ....
Physical examination also should be done along with bilirubin estimation....

For gastritis take omeprazole on empty stomach before meal....

Fruits and semisolid diet given to him to maintain calory intake ..

Alcohol should be avoided strickly ...

Gastric irritants avoided like .....
-excess tea
-spicy foods
-non veg
-smoking etc.....

Fried food taken less ...

Take care ....

Advise : gastroenterologist consultation for examination...
