Hello,

Since you have a history of smoking, are obese and have Cholesterol with pain in the left side of your chest, you should visit ER, or a Cardiologist & get physically examined. For pain you can take Acetaminophen (Tylenol) & PPI's like Propantoprazol, one sos when pain.

Get all investigations, CBC, Urinalysis, Lipid function tests, X-Ray, ECG, Stress test, (CT & MRI if required) done to detect any developing coronary artery disease. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected. In the mean time stop eating oily-fatty food with trans-fat, red meat, avoid alcohol intake, stop smoking or addictions if any. Stay away from stress & take veggies, berries, fruits & home made food.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
