Suggest Treatment For Addiction To Smoking Marijuana

I've been smoking marijuana heavily lately , and things are running downhill. A few days ago I lost my grandma, and I've been trying to keep myself kept together , but I'm self destructing. My eating behaviors is also getting worse, and I have episodes of over eating then throwing up at least 2 times a day. What's wrong with me?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello thanks for asking from HCM

Marijuana is cannabis. Cannabis smoking causes only psychological dependence and it doesn't cause physical dependence. Your abnormal eating behaviour is also probably due to marijuana smoking. I would advise you to stop using marijuana as it increases risk of a number of complications. You can stop using the drug cold turkey. You will suffer mild to moderate increase in anxiety, restlessness etc symptoms along with craving. Taking proper rest, low dose benzodiazepines for insomnia will help in easy detoxification.
Consult a psychiatrist for prescription of these drugs.

Thanks
