Suggest Treatment For Aerosinusitis During Pregnancy

Hi I am 14 weeks pregnant and have to take three flights today. Usually during flight landings I get Aerosinusitis. I can only describe it as a the worst pain in my life (although I haven t experience labor yet) I normally take Sudafed and Afrin to avoid this problem but now I can t take them because of the pregnancy. Is there anything else I can do that is safe? I have nasal polyps in my sinuses so my congestion is not a regular cold it is constant.

Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum
Many of the medications are only contraindicated in first trimester of pregnancy ie, till 12 weeks. So, please consult your doctor if you can take those medications as you are more than 12 wks now.
Also you can try the following
a. Sipping fluids during flights
b. Frequent swallowing
c. Yawning
d. Steam inhalation
c. Local decongestants
All the best.
