Suggest Treatment For Aggression And Compulsive Behavior In A Child
My four 1/2 year old daughter has recently begun to refuse to wear socks saying they feel funny despite trying on multiple pairs of socks. It progressed to shoes feeling funny or they don t fit me or they re too tight but we know they re not as they ve been fitted at the time of purchase. She has become increasingly annoyed by tags on her clothing wanting them cut off. She has begun to throw enormous very angry tantrums (never having thrown big tantrums) and this morning went to get dressed and then refused saying her clothes don t fit me . She was given the chance to chose ANYTHING from her extensive wardrobe to wear to daycare but refused to dress and was eventually put in the car & taken to daycare in just a singlet!!! I managed to force a pair of undies on her but took her into daycare with her clothes in my hand, screaming and crying. She has always hated having her hair brushed (yelling that it s hurting me ), for a long time refused to have her teeth brushed and still rarely tolerates toothpaste. She is jumpy at loud noises, fears dogs barking, sirens etc. She is also loathe to have sheets or blankets cover her but loves to be cuddled and would sit and hug me for ages. What is going on with my otherwise beautiful, funny, happy and very personable little girl?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, such situation need to be handle with great care, try to spend more time with here and not just for to instruct her what to do or what not to do, be with her share the talk with her and try to find where the wrong things going on, what made her insecure, you need to be very patience while doing this, perhaps take more time for good result, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
