Hi, my name is Edwin and I have a question not about me, but about a problem that recently occurred with my wife, she had an allergic reaction and began sneezing repeatedly, then she got up, went to the bathroom and realized that she started spotting like she was getting her menstrual cycle, but that had past this month already, can u tell us if that s possible and what can she do about it?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Some women can have periods may frequently than normal. This is called polymenorrhea. Polymenorrhea is defined as a period that occurs at intervals of 21 days or less.

It can occur due to stress, infection, hormonal disorders, inadequate nutrition.

If this occurs in the next few cycles, then she should see her doctor for assessment.

I hope this helps
