Hi. I'm 40. I am 1,56 and I weigh 48kg. Today I've been diagnosed my 4th amigdalitis this year. I used to suffer from amigdalitis very often until I was 14/15. Then it passed. It has come back when I turned 40. Is there anything I can do to prevent it? Thank you
Hi, thanks for your query. Prevention of repeated infection of your tonsil can be done by regular Betadine gargling twice daily. Avoid oily and cold items. Avoid Curds and citrus fruits. Avoid food containing preservatives and packed foods. Drink boiled water only. In spite of these measures if tonsil infection repeats, then get it operated and removed. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
