Suggest Treatment For An Accidental Intake Of Hydrocortisone Cream

Hi , 6 year old accidently was given hydrocortisone cream 1% on his toothbrush istead of toothpaste. He spat it out but may have swallowed a little tiny bit. appears okay. gave him water and little milk (after brushing teeth with toothpaste. How harmful is it and do I need to do anything else?

Hi,

Hydrocortisone is mild steroid. Your 6 year old son swallowed it accidentally. No problem. Not to worry at all. Not to consult any doctor. It is mild steroid having least side effects. So, it is not harmful. So, you have to do nothing. No treatment is required..ok. I hope got my answer.
