General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms you mention could be the sign of a serious allergic reaction such as Steven-Johnson syndrome. It is important that she let her doctor know as soon as possible, and to stop the medication in the meantime. If the swelling and blisters continue to get worse, I would advise her to go to the hospital.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
