Suggest Treatment For Anaemia?

My mom was hospitalized in March of this year and was unexpectedly anemic and had to receive 2 units of blood. She has since been suffering with an itchy, flaky tongue which is getting worse. She is always chewing and spitting flakes off her tongue and awake all night with it bothering her. What can this be?

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your mother has anemia. First of all we need to search the cause for that. You should go for complete blood count and peripheral smear examination. It will give primary cause whether it is due to iron deficiency or vit b12 deficiency or hemolytic or other cause. Then go for further investigation to search exact cause and take treatment accordingly. your symptoms are mostly due to anemia. So take treatment accordingly you will definitely get benefits.
Hope I have answered your question,
if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.
