Suggest Treatment For Anal Fistula

My son had a fistula after a hypospadias surgery. The doctor says it can be repaired by another surgery in six months but that there is a low chance of it healing itself. I want to know if there I things I can do to help the fistula heal before the six months elapses.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Fistula anywhere in the body can be cured by means of surgery as there is no alternate medical line of treatment available for this condition.
What doctor has advised is right. Hence, kindly plan and undergo surgery as advised.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
