Suggest Treatment For Anal Itching

sir my son is seven years old. after every two months of dewarming he again start complaining for anal itching mostly before or after dinner. i tried zentel and mebex both but the problem is still there. kindly suggest what should i do. i shall be highly obliged.

Hi.
As per your case history of anal itching
My treatment advice is-
1. Avoid giving him food rich in sugar like chocolates and ice-cream for at least 2 months.

2. As you have already given albendazole and mebendazole, other medicines which are effective like nitazoxanide, diethylcarbamazine can be tried.

3. A hip bath with lukewarm water containing potassium permangante can be given daily once for better results.
