Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain in my right foot, which started with the toe. This has been since Sunday AM. I couldn t sleep because I could not find a good pain-free position for my foot. Now my ankle has a little pain but it might be because I keep twisitng it around to get a good pposition. I can t get an appt w my dr until tomorrow AM - should I go to a quick medical care place? or wait until tomorrow? Thanks
I would suggest you to take a pain killer like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac] until you can visit your doctor. X-ray ankle should be taken to rule out any fractures. A combination of pain killer and muscle relaxants such as Dclofenac and Chlorzoxazone can be taken which can help in reducing the pain and inflammation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
