Suggest Treatment For Ankle And Knee Pain

my son is aged 14 and has flat feet. over the last year his foot size has increased considerably. his height is 5'8" and his foot size is 11. when he walks a distance or goes for a jog, he complains of pain in the ankle / knee. is there something that needs to be done?
