Suggest Treatment For Ankle Pain

Hello doctor, I had an ankle sparian 5 months back and was told that I had broken 2 ligaments. I didnt get it plastered, couldn't take much rest, had to climb many floors in Jan and had to run some distance speedily in Feb. In the beginning of this year, it had improved quite a bit but after all this, my ankle bone pains a lot nowadays. I can not drive and even walking normally brings on the pain. Could it be that my ligaments are badly damaged due to all these strains put together? Should I get an MRI done? I m 34 right now.
