Hi,

If you believe you have overdosed on antibiotics, seeking immediate medical attention is important. Contact your healthcare provider or go to the nearest emergency room for evaluation and appropriate treatment. When it comes to addressing imbalances in vaginal flora, such as an overgrowth of lactobacilli, your healthcare provider is the best resource to guide you in choosing the most suitable treatment options. They can assess your specific condition, and medical history, and recommend the most appropriate course of action.

Estrace (estradiol) is a prescription medication commonly used for certain gynecological conditions, but its use should be determined by a healthcare professional based on your specific needs and medical history. RePhresh gel is an over-the-counter product that is sometimes used to help maintain a healthy vaginal pH balance. However, it's important to note that self-treatment with over-the-counter products may not be sufficient for addressing an antibiotic overdose or rebalancing vaginal flora.

As for acidophilus, it is a probiotic that contains lactobacillus, which can help restore healthy vaginal flora. The dosage of medicine recommended may based on the product content and formulation. It's best to follow the instructions on the packaging or consult your healthcare provider for guidance on the appropriate dosage for your situation. Remember, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper evaluation and guidance on treatment options for your specific condition.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. If you require a personalized response, kindly use the Ask A Doctor service and post a follow-up query.
