Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And Depression

Just recently started suffering from anxiety and depression and have been put on 10 mg of teva-escitalopram but it does not seem to be working it s been 3 weeks now and I am feeling hopeless. Do you think the dose needs to be larger or I should be trying something else? I ve never had a depressing event before and I m 49 yrs old. I m a very logical and practical person who can t believe this has happened to me

1. It seems that you have developed bipolar disorder and since no relief is there, consult a psychiatrist for psychotherapy.

2. In addition to above treatment add Tablet pacitane ( trihexyohenidyl) to counter the side effects.

3. Rehabilitation of patient and co- operation of relatives is very important factor.
