Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And Depression

Hi, i took microgynom 30 contraceptive pill for a few years then my husband and i decided to try and get pregnant so i came off it and we conceived quickly, had my daughter all was well. I lost baby weight pretty quick with my usual healthy eating and generally felt good. Since having my daughter i have felt a bit anxious, my skin hasnt been great and iv felt bloated so last dec i went to docs to see what could help me and the doc started me on another contraceptive pill as he believed it would help my mood, it was called revigidom im sure. I took it for 3 months and noticed no difference so decoded to cone off of it and think now the best thing would be to try and re balance my hormones myself as iv now put on half a stone, very bloated, skin is bumpy/dry/grey looking, im trying to take supplements and now introducing more fruit and veg which iv always eaten but just trying to eat more. I exercise regularly and generally im fit and healthy and for years have weighed around 8st 12 , im now 9st 5. You can imagine the frustration! Also have low lobido and anxiety at times, seem to be falling apart- any advice ?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
HI
Thanks for using healthcare magic

i think, you have postpartum depression. In that case, you need proper dose of antidepressants. You would not improve with antidepressant. You should consult a psychiatrist for proper diagnosis and management. In case, you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks
