Suggest Treatment For Anxiety Attacks Due To Extreme Stress
Hi Doctor, I am currently experiencing ill health due to a series of actions that have been taken on behalf of my employer, this has been going on for approximately 4 years as I was injured and was very slow to recovery. I am now recovered mostly however I am suffering anxiety and stress as a result of their actions. I have taken my leave to allow me some time to ponder and think about how I can address this. I am feeling unwell and confused. Do you have any advice for me?
Hello, Greetings! Anxiety disorder are becoming more and more common these days owing to the stressful lifestyle lead these days. Any mental trauma in the past may become a reason for future anxiety. I would recommend seeing a psychiatrist as counselling may be mandatory to alleviate any anxiousness, inhibitions or fear you might have due to your job. I would recommend my patients to start on a mild dose of anti anxiety drugs which would reduce the stress as well as help in attaining a proper sleep and focus better. Since and psychiatric drugs are prescription drugs, I would recommend you getting them from a local psychiatrist.
