Suggest Treatment For Anxiety Disorder, Sweating And Sleeplessness
I saw a Dr earlier today, diagnosed a Anxiety Disorder, ordered additional blood work, ECG for next week. RX Lexipro and 25mg Xanax. Actually had to leave work today and come home, still can t sleep, Anxious, sweating, can t get enough air, pressure in neck...miserable and need to get up tomorrow and go back to work, can t even imagine leaving this room...exhausted
It may take a couple of days for effects of drugs to be obvious. But if you are not able to sleep and too anxious, I would recommend increasing the dose of Lexapro (alprazolam) a little bit. But this has to be done after discussing with you doctor.
For now, try to get involved with your spouse or family members, try watching a comedy film, or try meditation. Regular time outs, exercise, avoiding caffeine, alcohol and tobacco- all these will help in the long term.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
