Suggest Treatment For Anxiety Disorder

I am 18 and have had episodes in my life in which I feel anxiety about my health. I am a very anxious person about situations that I am facing. Currently, I am about to start college and have had consistent nausea/headaches and stomach aches during the past 2 1/2 weeks. About 3 years ago I had the same symptoms and went to a neurologist and gastrointestinal specialist because I was scared that something serious was going on. All the test came back negative and I started feeling better after leaving the doctors office. I believe this is the same situation again. I have also started a exercise regimen this month and started consuming whey protein (60 gram shakes) to build muscles.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

I think, you have anxiety disorder and you need antidepressant with low dose benzodiazepine. That would help to control anxiety in proper way and help you to perform in any situation. Better to consult a psychiatrist for proper diagnosis and management. You can also try relaxation exercise that would keep you calm.

Thanks
