Suggest Treatment For Anxiety, High BP And Flu
I am suffering from severe influence at the moment as I believed caused by an yearly occultation against the common flu. I am also suffering from high blood pressure and by doctors prescription am taking 1mg minipress tablets. also to assist a chronic prostate. For a year also suffer from nervous anxiety for which I have been prescribed Lexapro 10 mg tablets. To combat the flu I have just bought, over the counter, Nature s Own High Potency Vitamin C, consisting of ascorbic acid 500 mg, and sodium ascorbic 563 mg. I thought the medicine was at least getting down the discomfort, but it is not an I am feeling terrible. Is the interaction of Lexapro, minipress and the two ascorbic agreeable?

There is no obvious drug interaction between the drugs you have mentioned. Flu is usually caused by viruses and they are self limiting and resolve on their own. I would recommend you to continue taking supportive treatment like paracetamol for fever, body ache etc., and Cetirizine for nasal discharge, nasal stuffiness etc. It may take up to a week or 10 days for it to get resolved. If you don't get relief in this time period then you may seek medical advice. There is nothing to worry about and pl continue your routine medications as you were taking earlier along with the supplements you have mentioned.
