General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Without any other vision problems. Your complaint suggests refractory error for a distant vision It can also be due to other problems of eye like cataract.

Actually it occurs at earlier age but late may be due to unequal visions of two eyes &they were adjusting till now.

I would suggest for an urgent check up by an ophthalmologist & get your vision status be ascertained and start wearing specks earliest.

Any other cause specific treatment advised. Please avoid driving till the matter is settled.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale
