Suggest Treatment For Arm Injury

fell up in air...landed sideways on upper back elbow area..heard a crack......could move everything so thought all ok.....now hours later ....in pain...having trouble using fingers and the most pain is in lower part, right above elbow on back side....if something cracked like I heard...would a sling be ok as bones need to heal themselves?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It would be best, since you heard a crack, to see a doctor.

Bones can heal themselves but they may heal in abnormal positions if there are not in the normal alignment during the healing process.

An xray would determine if a fracture is present. If one is seen then further management would depend on the type of fracture seen.

I hope this helps
