Suggest Treatment For Arm Pain While Having A Possible History Of Palindromic Rheumatism
I have a history of possible palindromic rheumatism. The PR symptoms seems to be in remission at the present time. For the past year, I have had pain in both upper arms with movement. It has gotten worse, especially on the left. The pain has spread to both feet, both hands, particularly my index fingers, and now my left ankle. Pain is worse at night and with movement. Pain generally goes away with rest but I am so stiff and painful that I can hardly move when I get up again. My RA/connective tissue work-up was negative. What other diagnostic tests should I have? What type of conditions could these symptoms be related to?
As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. Consult a rheumatologist and get evaluated. Immuno-modulators are the mainstay of the treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you all the best.
