General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I am not sure about the shot made up from chickens. Normally steroid shots are tried as a treatment for severe arthritis, but other than that, there is no good evidence that other shots work, and even with steroid shots it is of questionable benefit.

As for what doctor to see, I would suggest seeing an orthopedic doctor, and surgery may be considered if other treatments are not helping.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
