Suggest Treatment For Asthma And Shortness Of Breath

hi, my husband recently underwent a a a opperation he has asthma but before he could control it but it seems now he is getting short of breath from the slightest movement, i,m wondering if when he was in the induced coma that his lungs were affected in some way

It is possible that one of the medications would have caused irritation of the airway but this should not be long term reaction and would have last normally only a few days.

It would be best for him to be assessed by his doctor to determine if the shortness of breath is related to his heart , lungs or possible anemia (low red cell mass).
He would need physical examination and investigations.

Investigations may include full blood count, chest x ray, ECG
