Suggest Treatment For Atrial Fibrillation

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...

I am 72 years old and take 4 mg Monoxidin every day. But lately I get awake at night due to artrieflimmer not too long but scary. What can I do to stop it - I live a very healthy life with lots of long walks, healthy food, etc.

Hi,

You may be suffering from periodic atrial fibrillation or flutter or ectopic or premature contractions. Avoid coffee and tea. Eat green leafy vegetables, avoid alcohol and smoking.

Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Please get ECG and echo (24 hours ambulatory cardiac monitoring) cardiography.

Then consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly (many drugs for cardiac arrhythmia but treatment may vary upon arrhythmia).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
