Hello and welcome to HCM,
Steroids when given for long duration can cause depression of immunity and thus predispose to various infections.
Since, you are on steroids for long period, it is obvious to be predisposed to various infections.
Low immunity leads to bacterial and fungal infections.
You too are suffering from fungal infection i.e. thrush.
Steroids are the drug of choice in autoimmune diseases.
I suggest you to consult your treating doctor to alter the dose of steroids so as to minimize the side effects of lowered immunity.

Thanks and take care
