Suggest Treatment For Back Ache And Gas While On Medication For UTI
Good morning- Two months ago I was prescribed Cipro for a Urinary Track infection. two weeks after I started having dull ache in mid left back and lots of gas. I had my gallbladder remover last Sept. Could Cipro be the cause of the dull ache? Thank you!

Cipro is an antibiotic. Apart from being effective in treating UTI, it can alter GI flora causing you to feel mild gas with a dull ache.
Take probiotics. If no improvement, and if you will notice changes in bowel movements, should get stool culture and sensitivity testing to rule out candida overgrowth.
