Suggest Treatment For Back Bone Fracture

Im taking meloxicam 7.5 once a day because I got into an accident and broke my back 5 months ago.. It relaxes my muscles. I went to the obgyn who prescribed me metronidazole vaginal 0.75 for 5 nights im on my third night and i havent needed my meloxicam the past week but im sore tonight and i want to take it but im afraid of the drug interaction. Is it ok for me to take together? One is orally the other is just a cream.
