Suggest Treatment For Back Pain And Low Grade Fever

My boyfriend has been in bed for 3 days says it feels like fluid moving in his head, he has ran a low grade fever, has back pain and his legs are jumpy or jerky. He s still been eating but looks pastey white should we go to the er? He does not have a primary care provider.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your symptoms are of back pain and low grade fever . The symptoms you mention in query is pointing towards condition like viral syndrome . Antibiotics will not give much relief to you as yours symptoms are more like viral infection. You should take paracetamol to prevent fever and combination of decongestants and multivitamin tablet. Your symptoms will resolve in 5-7 days without any treatment by its own . If condition doesn't get better then consult general practitioner for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antiviral drugs like acyclovir or may refer you to orthopedic surgeon for back problem .
