Suggest Treatment For Back Pain Due To Degenerative Changes In The Spine

I have pain in my back bone started a few days ago. X-ray shows vertenral bodies show degenerative changes in the spine with anterior osteophytes. The spinal canal is compromised at L4 and L5 levels. The pedicles, spinous processes and disc spaces are normal. The pre and paravertebral soft tissues are normal. I am taking some pain killer. Pl guide me what should i do to get relief of pain.
