Suggest Treatment For Back Pain In Both Sides After A Fall

I fell flat on my back on the ice in our driveway about 10 days ago. Ever since then I have had terrible pain on both sides of my back towards the sides of my backup in the rib cage area. Had an X-ray -no broken bones. If the kidneys are bruised, how do I know that and what can I do about it ? The pain is really bad and I've never had this pain prior to the fall.

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to to muscle spasm/injury, injury to internal organ, fracture.
I would suggest to consult orthopedic surgeon and undergo clinical examination, USG scan to confirm damage to internal organ.
Following treatment will help you
Injection tramdol if pain in untolerable
Tablet DICLAC-PLUS three times a day after meal
Tablet RANTAC before meal
Apply warm pad application
Wear elastic crepe bandage
Take bed rest
Other specific treatment will be decide after physical assessment and test result
Hope this may help you

Contact further if follow up needed
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
