Suggest Treatment For Back Pain

hi. i was in the hospital for 2 weeks and then rehab. for two weeks. Close to a week before i got out I noticed discharge and ordor, while i was there i used different soap then i am used to, which i noticed when everything started. Burning only on the outside of my vagina, discharge, and ordor. I bought over the counter yeast infection medicine. It seemed to clear up for awhile and then came back. ended up going to medwell. they did a urine test and swabed my discharged, and they told me that everything came back negative. i went to my family doctor, and we went over the results from medwell. she basically said yeast infection. which it didnt clear up. she told me to take proboitics. it didn t help and just gave me crapping in my stomach. so i am back to square one. its been 2 months. i do have back pain, but i was just diagnosised with being one step away from osteoporosis. so not sure where the back pain is coming from. i havent been to a gynecologist because i dont have one, by time i find one and make appointment, its going to be another couple months, i cant keep letting this go. please help any way you can and give me your opinion what it might be and treatment. i havent had any sexual contact in about 3-4 years...

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
You present with two problems.I will handle them separately.
-The first problem is that of vaginal discharges.I will say you just need to look at your douching techniques since no particular problem was found on vaginal swap smear test. The vagina is a region with its own cleaning mechanism. It also has many microbs living in equilibrium.Using soap or detergents for douching especially harsh ones destroy some normal vaginal flora leading to proliferation of some microbs that may cause discharge.Simple clean water with no harsh soap or detergent will do.
-As for the second problem, back pain, it may not be caused by osteoporosis.Osteoporosis may be asymptomatic till a fracture occurs.A poor bone densitometry result will need preventive measure that may even entail taking anti-resorptive drugs. However, back pain may as well be due to osteoarthritis. No matter the cause of back pain, treatment options may include: different lines of pain drugs depending on intensity of pain, myorelaxants, physiotherapy or surgery. In all, i will advise the following:
-Good douching techniques
-Pain drug like aceclofenac
-Myorelaxant like miorel
-Healthy diet
-Calcium and vitamin D supplementation
-Regular fitness exercises
Then try to book an appointment with a Gynecologist or a Rheumatologist to judge the need for anti-resorptives like biphosphonates.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
