Suggest Treatment For Bad Odor Diarrhea And Vomiting

Every Friday night for the past 3 weeks i get a horrible taste in my mouth similar to a Cheerios.When this taste comes on i know i will have horrible foul smelling diarrhea for the next 24 hours.I had these symptoms this weekend along with a new symptom of heavy vomiting for a couple of hours .These symptoms neverher occur except for Friday and Saturday.There is no pattern of food or any other thing i might be doing.The diarreah continues into the week but not near as severe No one around me has been sick or had the same symptoms as i have had.Ive made an appt with a Gastroentologist to get checked out.Any help appreciated

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of bad odor diarrhea and vomiting which seems to be due to electrolyte imbalance in body. It could be due to systemic imbalances in body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you not to panic at all. You should start treatment with combination of fluroquinolones and ornidazole.You should get intravenous fluid administration as well. Avoid taking Domperidone. You should avoid taking dairy products in excess. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy food.You can take banana on daily basis and light food. Drink plenty of fluids to rehydrate yourself. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined and start treatment after prescription.
