Suggest Treatment For Bad Odor Vagina

Hi, im 14. And i dont know if its normal to have your vagina smelling like fish. It gets bad when im due for my periods. My sister said she went through that stage to, but she got rid of it some how. Im so shy and embarassed to talk about it to my mum. Help please.
