Suggest Treatment For Bartholin Gland Cyst

Hello I have a bartholin gland cyst and I was wondering if I can take metronidazole pills to treat it. I was givin that after my abortion but forgot to take it. Can that be the reason why k got the cyst. I had the abortion last Monday and today I woke up with a cyst. I went to go see an ob/gyn today. She said it s less than a pea size but I m scared it will grow

well , if it has been diagnosed as a bartholins cyst , then there is no medical treatment for it with metronidazole. reason its not infectious but instead formed due to block in the secretions of bartholin's duct opening in the vestibule.

it has to be surgically marsupialized. but now that it is small in size and not causing you any pain symptoms or difficulty in intercourse or any pressure symptoms, you can leave it alone for some time till you decide or make up your mind for surgery , as you have recently undergone abortion.

it is a benign cyst and never turns malignant. so rest assured.
