Hi, I ve had a pimple on my cheek for 2 weeks now. At first, it was really big and hard under the skin, but a few days ago it cleared up under the skin and is only at the surface. I don t know what to do now because usually my pimples over the surface go away in 2-3 days. Any help please?
As per your query you have pimples on cheek which occur again and again . Well pimple occur when the sebaceous gland pore get clogged and entraped dead skin and bacteria that cause infection . I would suggest you to wash your face with face wash containing benzoyl peroxide twice daily and then apply cream containing azelaic acid , exfoliate your skin with nocomedogenic exfoliant and apply vitamin C serum at night . Protect your skin from sun exposure . If condition reoccur again then consult dermatologist for proper examination anf to rule out condition like herpes or some underlying disease . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocyclin and clindamycin along with retinoids .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
