Hello. I have been on numerouse medications for bi polar disorder for a number of years.. In the past 8 months or so I have begun to experience a completely miserable thrusting of my tongue against the back of my front teeth. I have asked my psychiatrist many times and she basically says it isn t TD but did put me on flexeril...which isn t helping at all. can you please direct me? This is hugely affecting the quality of my life. Thank you. YYYY@YYYY
Flexeril helps to relieve the muscle spasms. It may take some time to act. I suggest you to take the medicine for couple of days. If still there is no response, you may consult your psychiatrist again.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
