Suggest Treatment For Bipolar Disorder

Hello Dr. Rynne. I think my daughter may have bipolar disorder. I have watched her for years and I have done research over the years. My husband and I have tried in the past to help and even tried to have her see a doctor but she does not want to talk about it nor see a professional. She is now in her late 20 s and I do not think she is getting better. How can I approach her again without risk her getting angry and not talking to us for a long period of time?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a psychiatrist and get evaluated.

Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. Relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation can help a bit.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
