I did endoscopy and i was diagonized with mild hyperemic and mild antritis.. i have never heard of such disease. I am so scared if its acrable disease. I have also started with medication but i feel the bitter tatse and warmth sensation inside my upper stomach when i wake up ay mid night arround 3:30am. I am scared is something wrong?.. can you tell me what can be the reason behind bitter sensation and warmth sensation inside my upper stomach at night. please answer me asap..
From what you are reporting, it seems that you have been diagnosed with inflammation of the stomach mucosa of the antrum (which is part of the stomach). It is named as arthritis by your doctor.
The bitter taste in your mouth and warmth sensation inside your upper stomach is due to this inflammation. I highly recommend continuing treatment as prescribed rigorously. Get back to your doctor when finished. You can take antacid when you have this feeling, even if it is 3.30 am.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
