General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From what you are reporting, it seems that you have been diagnosed with inflammation of the stomach mucosa of the antrum (which is part of the stomach). It is named as arthritis by your doctor.

The bitter taste in your mouth and warmth sensation inside your upper stomach is due to this inflammation. I highly recommend continuing treatment as prescribed rigorously. Get back to your doctor when finished. You can take antacid when you have this feeling, even if it is 3.30 am.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
