Suggest Treatment For Black Spot On Eye Which Covers Sight

Last Friday I took the cap off a bottle that had significant pressure in it and pop into my right eye with great force. I thought it knock my eye out. First, I couldn't see at all except light int the corners but gradually after five days It has maintained a black spot that follows my eye ball. Sort of a transparent black that covers about 50% of my eye sight on the right.

I'm expecting to get insurance in February do you think I should see a doctor now?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
It seems from the history that you had a injury to the eye by a ca of bottle following which there was gross visual disturbances and now you are seeing black sots.
This indicates damage to the posterior segment of the eye involving the vitreous like vitreous hemorrhage or vitreous liquefaction. Hence you need to undergo eye examination to find out the cause by indirect ophthalmoscopy and B scan.
Hence I advice you to consult your eye doctor at the earliest for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
