General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the cracks with fungal infection between toes and skin surface indicate possible Tinea infection most likely. My guidelines at present:
- Control of blood sugar
- Cleansing the local part with lukewarm water added epsom salt
- Avoid beach visit barefoot
- Use Miconazole cream (2%) over the affected part 3 times a day
- Prescription of oral anti-fungal agents as fluconazole, ketoconazole or others

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
