hi me and my partner had sex and had accident so we maybe pregnant of two weeks my period due on 26th of this month i had water infection i belive and lat two days i been using a herbel medicine i always used uva ursi i read online now it toxic would it have harmed baby already i stopped taken now and asked doc for antibitics safe for pregnacy. thanks

Hello,
Firstly, you should get a urinalysis done to rule out/confirm infection. If necessary, urine may be tested for culture and sensitivity. This should decide the appropriate antibiotic needed to control the infection. Since you are expecting the pregnancy to have happened, you should inform the doctor about the same and take caution during the use of the antibiotics. Take plenty of liquids, avoid further sexual intercourse until you are properly healed and maintain proper genital hygiene. Hope this helps.
