Suggest Treatment For Bladder Infection While On Macrobid

I just took macrobid 100mg for bladder infection a month ago and I have been feeling like crap still so I went to urgent care and they called and said I have a bacterial infection. Is it normal to just get off and antibiotics and still have the bacterial infection?

Hello,

Yes, you can take antibiotic and still have bladder infection. This is because Macrobid was not able enough to fight this infection.

You need urine culture and sensitivity testing to determine the most susceptible antibiotic to fight this antibiotic.

Wish fast recovery.
