Suggest Treatment For Bleeding After Ear Piercing

I was just wondering, is it possible to cut off circulation to part of your ear with a piercing?? I got an industrial piercing done about a month ago, and part of my ear has gone a bit soft where it used to be more stiff. When the piercing was done some blood came out, however I didn't think it was too big a deal and neither did the woman who did the piercing. (It was a clean place, she wore gloves and used a new needle.)

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain cutting off the blood supply after an industrial piercing is not seen commonly and softening of the portion of the ear is also not a common finding until there is any infection or pain at the piercing site..

I would suggest you to consult a general physician and get evaluated and in case if there are no signs and symptoms of any infection then you need not to worry about it..

But in case if there is proliferation of infection in that area you should have to take care of it and oral and topical antibiotics and steroids can be advised to you for relief from infection..
