Suggest Treatment For Bleeding And Clear Fluid Discharge From Injury On Toe

Hi, I stubbed my big toe 4 days ago. It initially bled for a bit, but I stopped the bleeding with pressure and a bandage. It currently looks white compared to my other nails and is oozing clear liquid. It is sensitive to the touch and causes some uncomfort while walking. How should I treat it?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If it was covered for an extended period of time then this would cause the white appearance.

Once it continues to be exposed to sunlight, this should improve.

You need to monitor for infection , symptoms include redness, swelling, discharge, increased warmth, pain.
The area should be cleaned with an antiseptic and a topical antibiotic applied.

An anti inflammatory pain killer can be used to reduce the pain eg ibuprofen, cataflam, naproxen

I hope this helps
