Suggest Treatment For Bleeding From Gum

My 13 month old has cut her gum above her tooth and now has a flappy bit of gum there she's not really in pain but it keeps bleeding at night as she bangs her head on the bed to sooth herself, will this fix itself or will she have to have the flappy bit cut as it seems quite thick
